Application of GPR for prospecting of burried dead bodies in snow (June 2012)
Z.A.P. Consulting Engineers applied its GPR equipment in a humanitarian operation for prospecting of a dead climber’s body in Mount Karkas (Kashan, Iran), who had beed killed by an avalanche, last winter. This investigation was performed using a 250 MHz antenna which successfully declared snow and ice layers and potential burial locations.
Holding of first workshop on GPR in Iran
The first Iraninan workshop on GPR was held 22-24 April 2012 in Kerman University, by Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman and Z.A.P. Consulting Engineers.
